For Women Making Films, India, we crafted a dynamic brand identity that brilliantly marries the Venus symbol with a film reel, enveloped in colors that symbolize creativity and growth, perfectly capturing the spirit of women in film.
Project brief
Tasked with designing a brand identity for Women Making Films, a not-for-profit community founded by Vaishnavi Sundar, our goal was to encapsulate the essence of their mission: connecting, facilitating, and showcasing the incredible work of women in the film industry through various interactive programs.
Process
The cornerstone of our design was the celebration of women in films. We creatively morphed the Venus symbol into a film reel, symbolizing the blend of feminine strength and cinematic artistry. The chosen color palette of yellow and green was deliberate, representing creativity and growth, key attributes of the Women Making Films community.
Impact
Our design resulted in a versatile and impactful logo that could be seamlessly adapted across different formats. It captured the essence of the community perfectly, resonating with members and supporters alike. The logo not only symbolized the community’s identity but also became a beacon for women’s creativity and growth in the film industry.
